Example: Adding an ECOmatic Chlorine Generator. Note: For Correct ECOmatic Chlorine Generator Installation and Wiring, Please refer to the Poolux Installation Manual, Pages 40 to 41. Download the printed Installation Manual here. (The Installation Manual PDF File is 4 MB). Enter Configuration Mode, and once Setup is Verified, the Setup Devices Screen will appear. 1. Scroll Down to the Second Screen.
2. Scroll Down to Chlorine Gen, and Move Right to the Chlorine Gen Screen.
3. On Add Device, Move Right to Add the ECOmatic Chlorine Generator.
4. With Mode Highlighted , Select the Pool/Spa Mode that you want the ECOmatic Chlorine Generator to Operate in (Pool or Pool + Spa).
5. Scroll Down to Device Type, and Select Relay.
6. Scroll Down to Maximum Speed, and Select On/Off. ECOmatic Chlorine Generators can Only be Configured as On/Off Devices.
7. Scroll Down to Output 1, and Select Internal. The ECOmatic Chlorine Generator Cannot be Setup to be External.
8. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Do Not attempt to Change the Value. The ECOmatic Chlorine Generator Cannot be Connected to an Expansion Box.
9. Scroll Down to Device No., and Select Relay Number 9. The ECOmatic Chlorine Generator Must be Controlled by Internal Onboard Relay 9.
10. Scroll Down to Output 2 on the Next Screen, and Select NA if not already Selected.
11. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Select NA if not already Selected.
12. Scroll Down to Device No., and No Device Number should be Selected.
13. Scroll Down to Freeze Protect, and Select Disable. Freeze Protection is Only Enabled for Pumps, Air Blowers, and Solar Valves.
14. Scroll Down to Valves, and Select Disable.
15. Scroll Down to Rename Device, and Move Right to Spell and Save the New Device Name.
16. Navigate Left, Right, Up, and Down to the Desired Letter, and Select the Letter to Spell your New Name. When the New Name is Complete, Select Save to Save the New Name.
