Adding a Device

Example:  Adding an Automatic Acid Feeder.

Enter Configuration Mode, and once Setup is Verified, the Setup Devices Screen will appear.

1. Scroll Down to the Second Screen.

2. Scroll Down to Chemical Feeder, and Move Right to the Chemical Feeder Screen.

3. On Add Device, Move Right to Add the Automatic Acid Feeder.

4. With Mode Highlighted , Select Pool. An Automatic Acid Feeder is Only Operated in the Pool Mode.

5. Scroll Down to Device Type, and Select Relay.

6. Scroll Down to Maximum Speed, and Select On/Off. Automatic Acid Feeders can Only be Configured as On/Off Devices.

7. Scroll Down to Output 1, and Select Internal.  If the Automatic Acid Feeder is Controlled by an Expansion Box, Select External.

8. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Only if the Automatic Acid Feeder is Controlled by an Expansion Box, Select an Expansion Box Number (1-8).

9. Scroll Down to Device No., and Select the Relay Number (1-8) that the Automatic Acid Feeder is Wired to.

If the Automatic Acid Feeder is Controlled by an Expansion Box, Select an Expansion Box  Relay Number 1-8.

10. Scroll Down to Output 2 on the Next Screen, and Select NA if not already Selected.

11. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Select NA if not already Selected.

12. Scroll Down to Device No., and No Device Number should be Selected.

13. Scroll Down to Freeze Protect, and Select Disable.  Freeze Protection is Only Enabled for Pumps, Air Blowers, and Solar Valves.

14. Scroll Down to Valves, and Select Disable.

15. Scroll Down to Rename Device, and Move Right to Spell and Save the New Device Name.

16. Navigate Left, Right, Up, and Down to the Desired Letter, and Select the Letter to Spell your New Name.  When the New Name is Complete, Select Save to Save the New Name.

Continue To Exiting Configuration Mode
