The various Insteon Control Modules allow you to Control any Lamp or Appliance in your Home from your Balboa Wireless Panel.
Note: You Must Add the AccessPoints and Add the Insteon Bridge to the System Before Adding any Insteon Control Modules. For the Insteon Control Module Installation, you will need to have access to Both the Insteon Control Module and the Balboa Wireless Panel at the same time.
1. Although these Steps will Install an Insteon LampLinc Control Module, Other types of Insteon Control Modules are Installed Using the Same Procedure.
2. Plug your Lamp into the Outlet at the Bottom of the LampLinc Module Labeled "Controlled".
3. Plug your LampLinc Module into an unswitched Wall Outlet. The LampLinc LED will be On Solid without Blinking.
4. From the Display Screen on the Wireless Panel, Move Right to the Main Menu.
5. Scroll Down to Setup, and Move Right to the Setup Screen.
6. Scroll Down to Insteon Devices, and Move Right to the Insteon Setup Screen.
7. Scroll Down to the First Unused Insteon Device and Move Right to Install the New LampLinc Module.
8. With Add Device Highlighted , Press Select OR Move Right to Add the LampLinc Control Module to the System.
9. A Message on the Wireless Panel Screen will Instruct you to Press Button (Set) on the LampLinc Control Module to Add it to the Network.
10. On the LampLinc Control Module, Press and Hold the Set Button for at least 3 seconds.
11. The Lamp plugged into the Control Module and the LED on the LampLinc Control Module will Blink Twice, and then the LED will remain On Steady, without Blinking.
12. A Message on the Wireless Panel Screen will Indicate that the Panel is Adding the Device.., and Notify you that the Device is Added.
13. To Rename the New Insteon Device, from the Insteon Setup Screen, Move Right to the New Insteon Device Setup Screen. Scroll Down to Rename Device, and Move Right to Spell and Save the New Insteon Device Name.
14. Navigate Left, Right, Up, and Down to the Desired Letter, and Select the Letter to Spell your New Name. When the New Name is Complete, Select Save to Save the New Name.
15. Move Left to Exit the Insteon Device Setup Screen.
16. Continue Renaming Insteon Devices or Move Left to Exit Rename Devices.
17. Continue with Additional Setup, or Move Left to Exit the Setup Menu.
18. Move Left again to Exit the Main Menu.
19. If the LampLinc LED is Still Blinking, Linking of the LampLinc Module to the Wireless Panel was Unsuccessful. Unplug the Module, and Return to Step 3.
