Example: Adding The Pool Light.
Enter Configuration Mode, and once Setup is Verified, the Setup Devices Screen will appear.
1. With Pool Light Highlighted , Move Right to the Next Screen.
2. On Add Device, Move Right to Add the Pool Light.
3. On Mode, Select the Pool/Spa Mode that you want the Pool Light to Operate in (Pool, Spa or Pool + Spa).
4. Scroll Down to Device Type, and Select Triac.
5. Scroll Down to Maximum Speed, and Select H/M/L/Off for a Dimmable Light OR Select On/Off for a Non-Dimmable Light.
6. Scroll Down to Output 1, and Select Internal. A Pool Light can Only be External if Non-Dimmable AND Connected to an Expansion Box Relay 1-8.
Note: A Pool Light Connected to an Expansion Box Relay Must be Setup as an Aux Device.
7. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Do Not attempt to Change the Value. Only if you Started Over with the Pool Light Setup as an Aux Device and Controlled by an Expansion Box Relay, Select an Expansion Box Number (1-8).
8. Scroll Down to Device No., and Select Light Triac 1 if the Pool Light is Wired to the TB10 LIGHT 1 Terminal Block. If the Pool Light is connected to TB11 LIGHT 2, either Move it to the Other Terminal Block OR, go Back to the First Screen and Select Spa Light. For Device No., Select Light Triac 2. All of the Other Selections will be the Same as described for the Pool Light.
9. Scroll Down to Output 2 on the Next Screen, and Do Not attempt to Change the Value.
10. Scroll Down to Expansion Boxes, and Do Not attempt to Change the Value.
11. Scroll Down to Device No., and Do Not attempt to Change the Value.
12. Scroll Down to Valves, and Select Disable.
13. Scroll Down to Rename Device, and Move Right to Spell and Save the New Device Name.
14. Navigate Left, Right, Up, and Down to the Desired Letter, and Select the Letter to Spell your New Name. When the New Name is Complete, Select Save to Save the New Name.
