Control of a pool heater is managed by the Pool Control circuit board. The heater used must have a heater control interrupt (24 V Max), or "Fireman's Switch" available that can be connected to the Pool Control Circuit Board. Power for the heater can be taken from a breaker in the Pool Control enclosure, or a separate service can be supplied for it. This power is needed for electronic starting, fans and other features of a modern pool heater. The heater can also be powered up using the filter pump relay as shown NEXT.
