Each of the 8 installed relays is double pole, so each leg of the circuit is opened or closed by the relay.
When servicing any device that is controlled by these relays, be sure to turn off the circuit breaker(s) supplying power to the relay. This will eliminate the possibility that the device (like a filter pump) will be energized under a timed cycle (like a filter cycle).
Contact ratings for the relays are not to exceed 30 amps.
Note: Running the white neutral wire through the relay on a 120V circuit is not required.
