The Insteon Bridge and the Balboa Transceiver are Required for Communication between the Insteon Control Modules and the Wireless Panel. They will be Connected together and Installed at the same time.
Note: You Must Add the AccessPoints to the System Before Adding the Insteon Bridge. For the Insteon Bridge Installation, you will need to have access to Both the Insteon Bridge and the Balboa Wireless Panel at the same time.
1. Choose an Outlet Location for the Insteon Bridge near a Location where the Balboa Transceiver can be mounted on a Vertical Surface as high as possible.
2. Plug the Cable Connector from the Balboa Transceiver into the Receptacle on the Bottom of the Insteon Bridge, Labeled "BALBOA TRANSCEIVER".
3. Plug your Insteon Bridge into an unswitched Wall Outlet. The Insteon Bridge LED will be On Solid and Not Blinking.
4. From the Display Screen on the Wireless Panel, Move Right to the Main Menu.
5. Scroll Down to Setup, and Move Right to the Setup Screen.
6. Scroll Down to Wireless Setup, and Move Right to the Wireless Setup Screen.
7. Scroll Down to Add Device, and Press Select to Add the Insteon Bridge to the System.
8. A Message on the Wireless Panel Screen will Instruct you to Press Select (Set) on the Insteon Bridge to Add it to the Network.
9. On the Insteon Bridge, Press and Hold the Set Button for at least 3 seconds.
10. The LED on the Insteon Bridge will Blink Twice and then remain On Steady, without Blinking.
11. A Message on the Wireless Panel Screen will Indicate that the Panel is Training itself to Communicate with the Insteon Bridge., and Instruct you to Wait.. for completion.
12. When the Training is Complete, the Message will Change from Wait.. to Success. The Wireless Panel should now be Communicating with the Insteon Bridge.
13. Move Left to Exit Wireless Setup and Return to the Setup Screen.
14. Check to be sure that the Insteon Devices Option has been now Added to the Setup Screen. This is Final Verification that the Insteon Bridge and Balboa Transceiver have been added to the System. Continue with Additional Setup, or Move Left to Exit the Setup Menu.
15. Move Left again to Exit the Main Menu.
16. If the Insteon Devices Option is Not on the Wireless Panel Setup Screen, and the Insteon Bridge LED is Blinking once per second, Start again with Step 1.
