Setting Up Your Account

Before you can Login and Manage your Pool on the Internet, you must First Setup a Remote Pool Management Account.

1. The Only Wireless Gateway Information you will need to Setup a New Account is the Gateway ID Number.  Use one of the Following Four Methods to locate your Gateway ID.

Note: In most cases, using Method 1, Wireless Gateway Label will be the easiest Method.  The Other Methods should only be used if there is Not a Label on the Wireless Gateway with the Gateway ID (GID:) shown.

Method 1. The Wireless Gateway Label on the back of the Wireless Gateway Shows the Gateway ID (GID:) on the Second Line.  In most cases, using the Wireless Gateway Label will be the easiest Method.  Once you have the Gateway ID Number, you can Continue with Step 2.

Method 2. The Wireless Remote Management Gateway Home Page Status Tab Lists the Gateway ID.

2. Open your Web Browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla        Firefox), and Type pool.balboaror.com/admin/account/login into the Address Bar.  The Illustration Below shows the Address typed in the Address Bar.

3. The Balboa Log In Screen will Open in your Browser.  If this is your First Time Logging In, and you Do Not have a User Name and Password yet, Click on No Account? New Pool? Signup!.

4. Now the Create Account Screen will Open in your Browser. Type In your Customer Name, User Name you want to use, Password you want to use, your Email Address, User Type, Gateway ID, Your Pool Name (Example: Smith Family Pool), and Time Zone.  When All Entries are Completed, Click On Submit to Create Your New Account.

5. If the Balboa Server is Unable to Connect to your Wireless Gateway, you will get an Error Message advising you to Call Balboa Technical Support for Help.

6. If you did Not get an Error Message, You can Now Log In to Your Remote Pool Management Web Page, pool.balboaror.com/admin/account/login
